Anybody help e please~

Chapter 3 develops the DEF method and ascertains the corresponding stability region. The pattern obtained is similar as ABC method in which the region grows as the step size becomes smaller. However, the stability region of the DEF method is smaller than ABC method. In other word, it can be said that the higher order method is less stable compared with the lower ones. The overall performance of the numerical results obtained showed that DEF method outperformed XYZ method in terms of total steps taken, function evaluations and execution time. Even though the accuracy of XYZ method is better than DEF method, it showed that DEF method still able to gain the accuracy within the required tolerance. The comparison between ABC and DEF is made and the results exhibited that DEF is more accurate and required fewer steps than ABC meanwhile ABC need less storage and was faster than DEF.

Thanks a lot..

“it is possible to improve the accuracy of the latter method to within the required tolerance.”

What the exact meaning of this sentence? Actually I want to say, even though the XYZ method is superior in terms of accuracy than DEF method, but then this latter method still able to gain the accuracy within the required tolerance. Thanks a lot..

How about the last paragraph sir? Sorry if I am too much for help in this forum. Thanks a lot..

The derivation of the GHI method have been shown in detailed in Chapter 4 with the discussion of it performances. The stability region obtained by this method is smaller than ABC and DEF methods. Consequently, the ABC method is more stable followed by DEF and GHI method. Referring to the numeri

The derivation of the GHI method is shown in detail in Chapter 4 with a discussion of it performance. The stability region obtained by this method is smaller than for the ABC and DEF methods. The order of decreasing stability is ABC, DEF, GHI. In obtaining numerical results, the GHI method generally requires far fewer steps and functio
