1. Any who love knowledge want to be told when they are wrong.

2. Any who loves knowledge wants to be told when they are wrong.

Which of the above sentences are correct?

#1 is quoted form Today's English Version of the Holy Bible (Proverbs 12:1).

#2 is my own sentence.

There are more hits for that one I find incorrect.
curious.
I have been sure many times and have fallen flat on my face almost the same number of times.
In my opinion, the 1st is wrong.
