Any suggestions for topics I should cover in my upcoming book about English academic writing?

I'm currently outlining a book, the purpose of which is to help non-native English speakers improve their academic writing. I aim to show students the most common mistakes I've seen in my profession as a proofreader.

I'm posting this message because I don't want my work experience to be the only source of ideas for the content of my book. I would also like to take suggestions from English learners who are currently in university.

If you are learning English and are currently attending a post-secondary institution, I would like to hear from you. If you have any specific questions about writing academic papers, any examples of the kinds of sentences you struggle with, any general writing topics you wish you had more knowledge about, etc., please let me know. I will be happy to take any suggestions under consideration as I outline my book.
