Any problem with: I am interested on bettering my French?

Need to ask this, only because it appears in one native speaker's introduction.

No problem, but 'bettering' is less expected than 'improving'. CJ Edit: Oops. I see I missed that it should be 'in' instead of 'on'.

It should say "in" not "on".

It needs to say "interested in" not "interested on" but that could have been a simple typo. The overall statement is okay with that change.

A typo is not/less likely to be appeared in an introduction in personal info, but in this case, I guess it has to be.

...less likely to appear, not ... less likely to be appeared.
I think you're missing a "than."

Trust me, typos can happen absolutely anywhere.
