It means that in music the only way to resolve different points of view is the way of the emotions?

No it means that talking does not resolve different points of view regarding music.  It says that is as likely to happen as emotions being rational!

I don't think the comment reads too well, but I agree with Nona the Brit as to its meaning:

Disagreements about how to play the music, are not resolved by the musicians talking them out, verbally arguing, or rationalizing their points-of-view, any more than emotional differences can be resolved through rationalizations.

The comment certainly does seem to imply that music essentially is a matter of emotions. The problem I have with the concept is that it seems sort of simplistic. Just because something has an emotional basis, or source, does not rule out any connection to rationality. It strikes me as an odd and artificial segregation of the mind's capabilities, or if want to specify-- 'heart' and 'head'.
