Hello!

Please take look at this sentence? Any mistakes?

Over the course of the interview it was found out that the decision to establish guardianship over the nephew, Jim Smith, was made due to the maturity to assume responsibility regarding the child in a situation where child’s mother is not able to take care of the son.
