Any mistakes?

I disagree with this policy. Non-Japanese permanent residents should have the voting right because they are treated in hte same way as native Japanese people. They work and live as Japanese people do. Not giving them the right should be regarded as discrimination. As long as non-Japanese residents can live in Japan permanently, they must be able to participate in events like national electons. If the government will not allow those people to vote in such elections, they should not be regarded as permanent residents. In conclusion, I believe that non-Japanese people who can live in Japan forever should be able to vote.
