Any mistakes?

I visited my hometown for the first time in ten years, and ( ).

1 I found no buildings were left which reminded me of my childhood.

5 I couldn't find any buildings which reminded me of my childhood.

Any mistakes? If any, would you correct them?

Also can "my childhood" be replaced with "when I was a child" or "the days when I was a child"?
