Any live Internet feeds showing the Oscar?
This year, in the UK, the Oscars are on one of the channels I recently unsubscribed from, Sky Movies Premier 1.
Normally it's on one of the free-to-air channels, and because I watch mainly rental DVDs from the various Netflix-type services, I unsubscribed from Sky Movies.
Damn. Wasn't expecting that. I normally stay up to watch the Oscars with a few bottles of wine as I have a number of spread bets on which makes it more exciting. It ends at 6 in the morning here, so it's a long night.
Anyone know of a decent feed on the Net? I'd rather pay my ISP to upgrade my half-meg ADSL connection to a 2 meg ADSL connection for a night (I'm on a demand service - you pay for extra speed whenever you need it, at just 5 pence per hour), rather than have to pay Sky (aka Rupert Murdoch) 3 months connection to a premium channel I won't look at after Sunday..
