Any improvements necessary?

Hi!

is this sentence okay grammar-wise?

I hereby grant may consent to my son, Jimmy Smith, to cross internal and external borders of the Republic of Estonia, Member States of the European Union and Schengen Area Member States, as well as borders of other countries, and to return to the Republic of Estonia, due to travels of different type until he reaches the age of majority (eighteen years).

Thanks Emotion: smile

It's not so much that he's traveling until he turns 18, but that you give consent until he turns 18. If that part is even necessary, I'd place it at the beginning of the sentence. It might not be necessary because after he turns 18, your consent isn't required.

  • It's not so much that he's traveling until he turns 18, but that you give consent until he turns 18.
  • If that part is even necessary, I'd place it at the beginning of the sentence.
  • It might not be necessary because after he turns 18, your consent isn't required.
  • Crossing the borders of Estonia includes returning to Estonia.
  • Be all that as it may: Until my son, Jimmy Smith, reaches the age of majority (eighteen years of age), I hereby grant my consent for him to travel for any reason across the internal and external borders of the Republic of Estonia, of the Member States of the European Union, of the Schengen Area Member Sates, and of any other countries.
