Any grammatical problem with "I am looking forward to it."

I'm writing an email and it's about confirming my availability for an interview.

I know that we should have a V+ing after "to" in the above sentence.

I would like to ask is there any grammatical problem if I just type "it" instead of a "V+ing" at the end?

Thanks in advance. Wish you all have a good day. Emotion: smile
