Any grammatical mistake? any improvement in grammar?

When I studied the MSc in Maths, I was involved in a group present about bioscience.

In my final year in my BSc degree, I was the course representative.

Could you please correct / improve the grammar for the above 2 sentences?

i looked at some dictionaries before, but I can't make sure that my sentences were grammatically correct.

Those 2 sentences will be in my job application form.
