I would like to know if there are any grammatical errors in the sentence below.
Taken from a website (a joke about aliens):
"DISCLAIMER: We deny any responsability in the likely event of such knowledge can one day be used to invade our home planet". Ignore the spelling error in "responsability". I'm not good at grammar, but isn't the sentence repeating itself in future tense. When you say "in the likely event", there is really no need to use "can". Aren't you repeating yourself?
How about: "DISCLAIMER: We deny any responsibility in the likely event of such knowledge being used to invade our home planet one day"?
