There are many, many topics. It depends on the type you enjoy reading. You may dislike reading biographies which I like reading most.

Here're some books...

Dan Brown's novels

Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice"

Charlote Bronte's "Jane Eyre"

Charles Dickens's "Tales of Two Cities"

"The Roots" and "Malcom X's Biography as told to Alex Haliy" by

If you are a science fiction reader then you should try these books by the famous scientist Stephen Hawking: A Brief History of Time, and Briefer History of Time.
Friction- Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code.
Fantasy-JK Rowlings or you have many choices.

Two of my favorite books are 'The Catcher in the Rye', by J. D. Salinger, and 'Walden' by Henry David Thoreau.

Personally, I find Charles Dickens horribly boring, but a lot of people feel the same way about Thoreau. We all have our likes and dislikes...

Another good book is 'The Giver', by Lois Lowry.
