any

Hi

I thought that we use any only with the plural nouns.

I was reading a book and came across such a sentence: When doing any movement, lifting any hand or limp...... So, is it OK to use "any" when the noun is not plural? I suppose we cannot use "any" in questions when the noun is singular.

thanks

Yes, but money is uncountable, while "movement" or "hand" are countable.
