Antonia: registring

Hello!

Please guys, help me with the following:

1) Her reflexes were weak but registring. (Although they were weak they were still there?)

2)Her eyes were blown. (What does it mean?)

3)Her hand resting on the trademark red can.(This refers to Coke. What part of speech is trademark in this sentence? I'm not sur how to translate this)

Thank you

  • Translate it as you would emblematic or characteristic , perhaps.

Hello,

2. Her eyes were blown: she was drugged and raped and she was driven to hospital, where she had a seizure.

Thank you Mister Micawber.

I can only think that it means her irises were fully dilated (a common effect of some drugs)-- but this is only my common sense. Googling produces several, mostly grisly, possibilities, among which is this:

His eyes were blown wide open with adrenaline and he was running right at Asher.
