Is this neck tie in this context a regular tie?

Yes, it's just a tie. Pieanne, I think the idea is something like this -- suppose I want to do a stretch where I raise my left arm over my shoulder and reach down towards the middle of my back with the left hand. At the same time, my right arm is bending at the elbow with the hand behind my back, reaching up toward the other hand. (Easier to do than to describe.) I'm not very flexible, so I c

Hi guys, thank you very much. Actually, I can't check anymore because I've returned the book to my publisher. Sorry, but I'm almost positive that that's what was written there. Meanwhile, I came to the conclusion that if, for example, you sre sitting on the floor and you want to reach your feet, and you can't make it, you are couple of inches short from your feet, then you can use a tie.
