Antonia full well

Hello,

Can you please tell me what it means:

1) He knew full well (very good?)

2)He was a viable lead to what was going on in Grant (is it closer to palpable or certain)

3)About ready to start? (Are you almost ready to start?)ž

4)I graduated at the top of my class from one of the finest universities (does class here means the group of students as in high school, or does it mean that she was the best or among the best students of the whole generation of students)

Thank you
