Antonia: be the ball

Hi,

Does it mean 'to become one with the ball, to be the ball'?

On your initial swing, really aim to drive through the ball not just hit it.

Thanks

No it means that a golf swing should be a long continuous arc, going right up in front to shoulder level plus, don't aim 'at' the ball and stop at the bottom of the arc.
