Anticipate getting my licence

You have passed your driver licence exam and are waiting on the results that you no will be positive.

you get pulled over by the police and you say the following hoping to get out of it.


I just want to know if anticipate is natural in this situation?

I anticipated getting my licence. I will receive the results tomorrow.
