I have underlined the pronouns and bolded the antecedent(s) in the following sentence. Can someone help to see whether I have done it correctly?
1. As Benji and Samantha walked out of the store, they realised they had been robbed.
"Benji and Samantha" is a compound subject: two simple subjects joined with a coordinating conjunction "and". I have, therefore, underlined the entire subject as the antecedent of "they". Am I right in doing so?
