Answering third person possessive "has got"

0Hello,02br
00As far as I can tell, answering the question "Has she got long hair?" with the response "yes she has/no she hasn't" is gramatically correct, however as a native English speaker this doesn't sound intuitive. I'm inclined to answer with "yes she does/no she doesn't".02br
00I've looked high and low for a grammar rule that supports or refutes this, but haven't had any luck. Could somebody point me in the right direction?02br
00My thinking is that "has" needs to be tied to a possessive, whereas "does" can stand alone. 0-
