Answering "Nice To Meet You"

Hi All

As far as I know, replying "nice to meet you" with "you too" or "likewise" are correct.

I wonder if it would also be correct answering with "me too", assuming that it is the short form of "that is true for ME TOO". If the answer is somehow "yes", can it be considered as a worthy alternative or just grammatically acceptable.
