Answering a Question from a Guest

You ask me why I'd love to live in the lush mountain;

Being carefree, I smile instead of a reply.

Peach flowers floating on the water down the stream,

This is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The Chinese version: ???????,???????????????,????????

Hi,

I love this Chinese short poem in the above, so I did my best to get its meaning across in English. I hope you would love it too. If there is anything about the English rendition that sounds odd, please correct it for me. Thanks.

I dwell amongst the green hills: You asked my why,

My soul at ease I smile without reply.

Peach petals swept along the stream,
