Answer these please
Hi,
I think I have asked some questions on this line of inquiry before but I wish you would help me again. Can you answer which one is the correct answer, a or b?
1.As far as you know, which university is the biggest university in Maryland?
a) the University of Maryland or b) University of Maryland
I think the title like this usually accompany 'the' in front of it.
2. As far as you know, which is the institute that is known for having a great selection of rare artistic items?
a) the Smithsonian Institute or b) Smithsonian Institute
I think I am trying to ask is this: When you have proper names that usually have 'thes' in front of them and the questions have used up?? the 'thes' in the questions parts, does that make it unnecssary for the answers to have 'thes'?
I think a person answered like this.
What is the ocean that touches your country to its left?
a) the Pacific Ocean or b) Pacific Ocean
I think the teacher (I think he is) said 'b' is correct since 'the' is used in the question part.
