They may, of course, not pronounce it the same way. You can ask Stephen how he pronounces it: +1 617 253-5236. (I'd recommend e-mailing him at (Email Removed), with tim reversed (as he's at MIT), but I have no reason to think he knows a phonetic alphabet.) (I can't seem to find contact info for Joe, not that I tried very hard.)
Incidentally, there are also several Ansolabeheres mentioned in http://ucce.ucdavis.edu/files/filelibrary/1198/10925.pdf , but I don't know how to reach any of them for the purpose of asking him how he pronounces his name.
Of course, you can also try the phone book: look up Ansolabeheres, call them, and ask them. Cf.

Nope. You do it that way, you can't put in commas (since there's more than one political scientist and more than one children's-TV writer/producer).

If you put the names before the the's, would you use the commas, even if there were more than one of each Ansolabehere?

I still don't, but have found out that it's Basque in origin and written without an accent. I imagine that's not news to you, Aaron.

Let's see.

That has parenthetical explanatory phrases between commas, perfectly normal, and suitable regardless of the number of Joe A.'s and Stephen A.'s.
"Does anyone here know how to pronounce the name shared by Stephen Ansolabehere the political scientist and Joe Ansolabehere the children's-TV writer/producer?"
Kind of colloquial, and makes a lot more sense if there's more than one Stephen A. and more than one Joe A.
So yes, I probably would use the commas. The phrase following the commas explains the preceding phrase, which is syntactically complete. Thus "the political scientist, Stephen Ansolabehere" means "the political scientist (whose name is Stephen A., in case you were wondering)" and thus implies there's only one political scientist. On the other hand, "Stephen A., the political scientist" means "Stephen A. (who's a political scientist, in case you were wondering)", which makes perfect sense.
