They mean the same thing to me.

If I wanted to help someone who said either sentence, I'd start looking for three additional chairs.

The first one suggests you have not been there for longer than just a few weeks.
The second is free of any connotation as to how long have you been there.

In my humble opinion, using the English language is like painting pictures. You have two excellent artists painting the same scene using same tools and paints but what is created by one and the other can be different. It might be due to the difference in perception or other unintelligible factors but what came out can be and usually are two different interpretations of the same scene.
