Another tag question.

First I'd like to thank all the advisors who helped me with some tag questions the other day. Now I have another sticky one, I guess.

You'd better watch out for that, ____ you?

The tone of this sentence is not in a normal tag structure. When a sentence start with "you'd better", it's formed in an authoritative or advisory tone.

I think to make this sentence a tag question, it needs to be changed to something like:



“You would watch it closely, won’

Grammatically, I agree "hadn't" is the logical answer. No questions there! But don't you find it odd with the posted context?

I don't think I've ever come across someone saying this.....
