Another step back and/or you might

Another step back, (and/or) you might fall.

Are the two options in the brackets both possible? In my grammar book, the correct answer to this question is "or," but I think "and" is possible in a case where a boy is standing backward at the end of the platform, and his parent warns him that it's dangerous. What do you think?
