00Fluid kinetic01font00 02font00engines are able to generate an enourmous power and furthermore temperatures inside these engines can reach extreme degrees. Therefore the components for these machines have to be precisely manufactured and have to satisfy demanding requirements. From the beginning of my studies I was fascinated by these engineering challenges. These areas of concentration still prove to be highly fascinating and satisfieing.02br

00In the following text I would like to state my motivations and objectives for this application and what aims I want to reach by spending an academic year at the XXX University.02br

00Global business relations and co-operation are an important element in aeronautical engineering as they are of great value to ensure success, in engineering but also economical success. Above all aerospace industries have to meet global demands. The common language for working and doing business together is English.02br

00I have deliberately chosen your university with its international profile and English as medium of teaching and working to learn this technical jargon.02br

During the past nine semesters I always worked conscientiously and organized my studies with the objective of becoming a Diplom-Ingenieur in aeronautical engineering rapidly and with the highest qualification01i00(s).02i02br

00I completed several study projects successfully. In a team I developed a design for a 200-seat middle range civil aircraft and I also designed a power train for wind turbines. Working on these projects and also as a student assistent at the Institute of XXX at the TU-XXX has enabled me to prove my working techniques in scientific projects, my analytical abilities, and my capability to work in teams. 00The Double Degree Program at the XXX University would offer me the 01i00(once-in-a-)02i00 lifetime opportunity to combine the knowledge I aquired in my major studies with an internationally acknowledged degree as a Master of Science in Thermal Power. I am absolutely convinced that a year at the XXX University would be an important and profitable experience which would improve my professional chances on the global market substantially.02br
