It is natural for the potential buyers to be concerned about the fire. The wood is inflammable material, but in comparison with concrete and steel it is more fire endurable-it gives in later. Pine Ends in Sugar

Put a layer of pine ends and a layer of brown sugar one over another into a glass and fill it to the brim. Leave it 3 weeks on the sun, then filter it and drink the syrup as necessary. You can make a tea or refreshing drink out of pine ends. (7.7.2007)





The use of sprouts

The same as the fresh sprouts of some conifers, we can use also the sprouts of pine tree to make an infusion for drinking when having a cold, cough or flu. Sgermov Pine

Sgermov pine grows in Ribica on Pohorje in stanska valley by Gregel. It is 62m high which is the highest tree in Slovenia and also one of the highest autochthon trees in Europe.
