Another & Other

I am learning English currently.
I want to know when I write "other" and when I write "another" in sentences.
I want to know the main grammar.
Can anybody tell me?

Thank you very much

Hello Onh1986 If you have two things, you will count as 'one, other' If you have five things you will count them in a way among the four; (1) 'one, (four) others' (2) 'one, another, (three) others' (3) 'one, another, another, (two) others' (4) 'one, another, another, another, other' 'Other(s)' mean 'things that are still not counted'. 'Another' (=an+other) is one of others and so 'another' is always singular. ( x ) I don't like this one.
