"Anonymous Rex" on DVD

For those who may have missed it on TV, it appears that "Anonymous Rex" has been released on DVD. I saw it on the the shelf at Blockbuster last night. I assume it is at other Blockbusters as well.
(Don't let Hollywood Video know I was looking in Blockbuster they may "terminate" my contract.)

No, no, goodness no, but it was never meant to. It was shot by SciFi and 20th Century Fox and shown on SciFi as a backdoor pilot ("Movie Of The Week!) and not a fantastically good one, sadly. The ratings weren't good enough to warrant the TV s

A... what? Is that pronounced theeter? ... Oh, wait a minute, I once worked on some computers in a local theeter. It smelled a lot like stale popcorn. I told the owner that, with all those cushioned seats pointed towards the front, they should set up a widescreen TV on the stage and charge to watch wrastling, or something. And that they could even rent DVD

[nq:1]But hey, Blockbuster's gotta do something to raise their market share, so perhaps All Eric, All The Time might work. Certainly cut down on the number of necessary shelves.[/nq]
All the local video rental video places are cutting way back on shelves already. The places are starting to look about as empty as a K-Mart. Even the two big grocery stores that used to have thriving video

[nq:1]The DVD came out about a year ago, actually, so it's surprising that it would be in any visible position ... market share, so perhaps All Eric, All The Time might work. Certainly cut down on the number of necessary shelves.[/nq]
Netflix found space for it on their shelf, too:

[nq:1]Of course, their shelves are virtual, and thus the problem. The main issue I had/have with the film is simply ... me in November, and perhaps we shall try again, elsewhere and/or in another medium... but hey, a film's a film...[/nq]

[nq:1]The main issue I had/have with the film is simply that Those In Power chose to take it, well, seriously. ... been a comedy, and by taking the premise at a serious face value... well, it's pretty obvious what happens next.[/nq]
That's what I thought when I watched it. The "Rex" books are a fun twist on the hard-boiled detective genre the TV Movie/Video didn't catch much of that "flavor."

It's great you're explaining this. It never occurred to me to ask "w
