Can anyone help me ,how to write a formal email to manager regarding as me and my wife are staying in other country as she is pregnant now and i want to send her back to india ,i need 3 days leave.Can anyone help for me.

Dear Manager,
I would like to request 3 days leave of absence due to my wife is pregnant and i want to send her back to India before crossing 5 months of her pregnancy.
Hence I request you to grant me a leave for three days. I will be back on Thursday and will resume my duties from the same day.
