annoyed/tired

Hi, the sentence below is not correct, why?

I am annoyed of making excuses for your rudeness to our friends. (correct is tired)

I think they both have very similar meaning and I don´t see any grammatical mistake.

The preposition used in the sentence should be 'at'.

But, yes, 'annoyed of' is not ever used, so that is why annoyed was not correct.
