Animation/animated

Hello,

Which of the following can I use to cite a source? In this example, the source is an animation made by someone, for example, Jennifer.

Animation by Jennifer.
Animated by Jennifer.

Thanks.

Probably the first one, assuming that Jennifer created the whole thing. "Animated by Jennifer" seems less likely and may imply that someone else created something, say a character, and then Jennifer added animation to it.
