Hi!

I read the following in a TOEIC book:

“8. Additional paper for the fax machine can be found in the break room cupboard ______ in the supply cabinet.

(A) either

(B) also

(C) and

(D) but

(Answer: C)” ((TOMATO TOEICReading, p. 198))

If there were ‘(E) or’ among the above choices, which one do you think would be the best answer? (C)? (E)?

If both of them are correct, what’s the difference?
