And.. too

I have a question concerning the use of the auxiliary with "and..too" to show agreement with affirmative sentences. We use do/does depending on the subject within the ", and...too" sentence. For instance,

1. I like to eat seafood, and he does too (third person sing., hence "does").

2. I like to drive fast, and they do too (third person plural, hence "do").

Am I correct in my analysis? Please let me know.
