And that's a bazooka in your hand

The first snowplows come rumbling through. Except it's not a snowplow, it's a tank, and that's a bazooka in your hand. Bam!

Hi,

The above is from the novel Loser. How come a snowplow becomes a tank? When you snowballfight, would you fire a bazooka? Thanks.

Hi,

It sounds like a matter of using one's imagination.

iIs it perhaps a kid who is pretending that the snowplow is a tank and the shovel in his hand is a bazooka?
