And or full stop

Hello everyone,
Is either "full stop" or "and" correct to combine the sentences below?
1. If you hadn't been with me, all those things we did together would have been too much for me to do(.) I wouldn't have had enough energy to do them both.

2. If youhadn't been with me, all those things we did together would have been too much for me to do (and) I wouldn't have had enough energy to do them both.

Regards,

JA

Yes, although I wouldn't say that a full stop combines two sentences. all those things sounds like more than two. them both means two.

Full stop. "And" makes the rest sound redundant after "too much for me to do". The full stops lets it sound like expansion.
