Hello All,

I have to join the following sentences using ( and / but / that).

1. X climbed the tree. Y climbed the tree.

I did like this

2. X and Y climbed the tree.

The other boy wrote like this -

3. X climbed the tree and Y climbed the tree.

The teacher said that both (2) and (3) are correct.

I want to know that (3) is correct?

If both (2) and (3) are correct, which one is more natural?
