Analytical premise or analytical assumption

Hi! We are trying to translate the line: "Si se parte de la premisa analítica que el efecto no es el mismo para un estudiante que para el otro...". We have two options for this: "On the assumption of the analytical premise that..." or "Based on the analytical assumption that...". Which of these options would be the most common? You may also propose another option.
