Analysis of one sentence, lose contact with one

I have learned that two interpretations are possible and they carry the same meaning in the sentence.

Do well on the test on Monday.

on Monday can modify the test as an adjective phrase or on Monday can modify do as an adverbial phrase.

And I feel like they have the same meaning.

And then I have a question about this sentence.

I lost contact with her.

Here in the sentence, does with her modify contact as an adjective phrase or with her does modify lost as an adverbial phrase?

I think that both are also possible and they carry the same meaning.

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance.
