Analysis

0 Hi, 02br

00I have the following problem - I can't recognize the components of this: "more than half a million". Is it that, in this case, there is an ellipsis of the word "of", like: "more than half of a million". Understanding it like this, it would then mean that "half" is the headword of the noun phrase, "more than" is its premodifier and "of a million" is the postmodifier. Furthermore, "more than" is a prepositional phrase (?) and "of a million" is also a prepositional phrase. Or is it that "million" is in fact the headword of a noun phrase that includes the premodifier "more than half"? Or is it even something else 05000 ?02br

00Also, another question is disturbing me: the sentence "It is the same", where "it" is the subject, "is" is the predicator and "the same" is the subject complement, is it that "it" is the false/grammatical subject and "the same" is the real one?02br

00I would be enormously grateful to get the answer. 010id6
