Carrie: Thank God. I really hate it when you have to work on Sundays.
Thomas: This Sunday let's have some family time together.
Carrie: That's great. Let's go on a picnic or something. Should I call your brother?
Thomas: Honey, by family I mean you, and me, and our baby. he probably has some plans anyway. I think he's seeing someone.

Yes, if you add "to" too: "Ought I to call your brother?" For me this is OK, but I imagine it may sound a bit stilted to some people.
