Analogy/FRANK: SECRETIVENESS

FRANK: SECRETIVENESS::
A. honest: theft
B. transparent : light
C. free: autocracy
D. callow: maturity
E. confident : intrepidness


The relationship of the given pair can be simply concluded as "antonyms", right? So why not D, but A?

Mmmmmmmmmh... Not sure... E would be my choice... Confident as in 'self assured' = Intrepid as in 'having no fear'... So they are not antonyms but rather synonyms don't you think ?

Isn't it rather the opposite?

I hesitate between A. and D. But "frank" is a positive value...

"secretive" suggests "unwilling to reveal"
These two are adjectives.
The corresponding nouns are "frankness" and "secretiveness", "the quality or property of being frank", "the quality or property of being secretive".

So do you think I argued well with this point:

"I thought A would be closer. But I didn't choose it becuase "theft" suggests an act (of stealing) while maturity suggests a state (so does secretiveness). You know being in what kind of state. For example, maturity evinces in the state of being mature, and secretiveness in the state of being secretive."
