ANALOGY or METAPHOR

Does this make sense please?

1 In the song he says he'd catch a grenade for her, he jump in front of a train for her, in the video clip you see him hauling a piano all the way up a mountain to her house. Catching a grenade jumping in front of a train is methaphor/analogy for being there for her, hauling the piano up a mountain for her.

Thank you
