Can I used the word analogous this way?

Thanks.

No, it doesn't work. It may be that you mean something like "... in connection with (the) PS4".

Yeah. I was trying to say "in connection with the PS4."

Is there a single world I can use to replace "analogous?"

The word "hatsu" is actually a Japanese word meaning "for the first time."

I can't think of one. "analogous" is the wrong part of speech there. It would need to be an adverb. "analogously" does not appear to have the correct meaning though. What is the relevance of "for the first time" in connection with the PS4?

This is the first time a video game from this series is appearing on the Playstation 4.

Thank you.

"in connection with" seems appropriate then.
