An undertaking

I, the mother of XXX, here by vow that if my daughter, XXXX, couldn't get through the upcoming exam even in a single subject, the school authority is (I couldn't guess the correct word here) to retain her in the same grade for the next academic year too. I will not have any objections to its decision.

Is the undertaking written in correct English?
