An SAT question

5. The Arts and Crafts movement at the turn of the twentieth (century was a revolt against the uniformity of objects mass-produced) by the factories of the industrial revolution.
(A)century was a revolt against the uniformity of objects mass-produced. "Correct"
(B)century revolted against objects that were mass-produced and uniform. "Wrong"

Why is "B' wrong.

(B) is wrong because something cannot be uniform "by" another thing. Also, "was a revolt against the uniformity..." is better than "revolted against objects".
